Connect a sending domain
Add and verify a domain so your simulations reach the inbox, and optionally host the whole test on your own domain.
A verified sending domain is what lets your simulation emails pass spam checks and reach real inboxes. You add one from Settings → Sending domains.
The DNS records
HukProof gives you a set of records to add at your DNS provider:
- SPF, authorizes HukProof to send for the domain.
- DKIM, cryptographically signs each message.
- DMARC, tells inbox providers how to treat the mail.
- CNAME, points the tracking and landing host at HukProof.
Paste them in at your registrar, then come back and verify. A domain only becomes active once every record checks out.
DNS changes can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours to propagate. If verification doesn’t pass right away, wait and re-check.
Custom landing domains
You can run the whole simulation (the email and the landing page) on your own domain, for the most realistic test possible. That domain goes active only once its SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and CNAME records all verify.
