This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies HukProof uses on our website and app. In short: we use one strictly-necessary cookie to keep you signed in, and no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
1. What cookies we use

Strictly-necessary cookies do not require consent because the service cannot function without them. We do not set analytics, advertising, or social-media cookies, and we do not sell or share any information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
2. What we do not use
- No third-party advertising or retargeting cookies.
- No cross-site tracking or fingerprinting.
- No selling or “sharing” of personal data (as defined by the CCPA/CPRA).
3. Legal basis & consent
Because our only cookie is strictly necessary to deliver a service you request (staying signed in), we rely on that necessity rather than consent, consistent with the GDPR/ePrivacy rules and India’s DPDP Act. If we ever introduce non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent first and provide controls to manage them.
4. Tracking within phishing simulations
Separately from website cookies, the simulated emails our customers send to their own employees may contain open-tracking pixels and unique links. That measurement is part of a customer’s own awareness campaign against their own workforce — it is not HukProof tracking you across the web. See our Acceptable Use Policy for the rules customers must follow.
5. Managing cookies & privacy signals
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but blocking the session cookie will prevent you from signing in. Because we don’t use non-essential, advertising, or cross-site tracking cookies, there is nothing extra to opt out of, and browser “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signals have no additional effect on our Service.
